Freddie Hubbards distinct fiery sound rates him at the top of my list. His quality hit Red Clay is one of my favorite tunes of all time. The bass line and the horns along with the first chorus by Freddie is amazing. A Trule Quality.

No one can match up to Freddie Hubbard, I got this CD 2 years ago and it rarely leaves my disc changer. This is a well rounded album displaying a full spectrum of Hubbard's raw talent and ground breaking sounds. Also to the Hip-hop enthusiast, listen to the first song(Red Clay), you will find that this melody is sampled on A "Tribe Called Quest's" 1993 "Midnight Mauraders."
