XX-Large Analogue Dreams is a sample CD released by Best Service,
available in Akai S1000, Audio CD, Roland and SampleCell Mac formats.
It contains samples of single notes that have, where appropriate,
been looped to allow the musician to sustain notes indefinitely.
This allows the sampler to emulate a handful of sounds of each of
the featured synthesizers with reasonable accuracy.

StormDrum is one of the few products these days that you could accuse of under-selling itself: a fairly plain box with no images of Mel Gibson or the like, and not smothered in endorsements from Hans Zimmer or Jerry Goldsmith, but it's most certainly worthy of sitting where it does beside the great Symphonic Orchestra Library.
